Int'l Falls was about 100 miles N of me growing up, it does seem like it's always the cold spot in the nation - it's amazing that more water pipes don't burst... we always had ours wrapped with heat tape, in addition to the regular insulation, etc - you had to keep it plugged in when it got real cold, if you wanted water to run & not split the pipes.
We also had to keep our cars plugged in, if you wanted oil to actually move thru your engine |
