Local Mobile forecast indicates "several" inches of snow expected down to coastline.  By the way, the 24 hr record for Mobile is 6.2 inches.  

This could be a sight to see as it unfolds.  

Winter storm 1993 delivered Mobile 3.7 inches of snow.  Of note, that storm was also during an El Nino winter.

Mobile's yearly average of snow is .... T (trace).
