| Actualy Cypress I am so far gone music does not do it for me any more ! Strangly enough I find violent storms of all types and most everything about those storms to be very relaxing.We just had a moderate t-storm here in the mountains and I feel much better now ! Will be leaving for Sitka Alaska soon and can hardly wait to experience my very first really big pacific coastal storm this fall ! Hear tell that SE and SC ALaska experiences hurricane force winds during the fall and winter on a very regular basis ! In fact the storms that roll into coastal Alaska during the fall and early winter are so common,large and severe that one of the Hurricane Hunter planes is sent to study and help forcast those storms following service during the cane season in the Atlantic basin ! If we stay in Sitka an entire year chances are we will experience two -four storms with wind gusts of over hurricane force,and sustained winds of a good 50 mph.Besides that, storms with gale force streangth winds can and do occour on a weekly basis in that part of Alaska ! I can hardly wait ! |
