This is a Hurricane Message board, so I would think it is open to discuss waves that look like they have a chance to develop.
Heck, NHC even puts up yellow circles on their web site and has discussions about them.
Maybe Jim should post some rules as to what the thresold is on making a post that would make more people feel better.
Should it be: TUTT firing convection Active Wave TD TS Cat1 wait till a Cat5 Oil Slick Solar Flares Artic Ice Melt
All in all, you have to admit this was an impressive wave for this time of year this far east in the Atlantic.
I myself will be looking forward to more discussions and analysis as the season heats up.
