JAC I think you hit the nail on the head except for the dashed line comment. You are right NHC 94L is a shredded joke & 92L was a depression at one point. I expect to see quite a few storms this year where NHC will say cat 2 or 3 in 5 days & they will be cat 5s, they need to realize favorable conditions when they see them. I think Alex will be major yet they wont forecast it.
