Have you never heard of the 'quiet before the storm'? or people who've gone about their business, working, laughing, playing, as best they could, trying to put out of their minds a calamity which is surely around the corner??? Thats the way it was during that glorious summer of 1939 in Europe---one last reprieve before the utter destruction of the continent---which everyone saw coming, but no one knew how to prevent. It started at summer's end (WWII) with the German invasion of Poland Sept 1, 1939. And then, all hell broke loose. All hell is set to break loose along the US Coast too---Some on this board have experienced some of this hell in recent years. Its coming, and there's not a damn thing we can do about it. So I hope everyone enjoys this last quiet during the high summer--before what's to come--for it most surely will come this year.
