Chris I was obviously writing my above P.S.  while you were sending your last message -- and I thank you.   I am using I.E. 7 but there are still tons of people on 7, and besides, I don't have problems anywhere else like this.  You're right that the page aborts are puzzling.  Can you/would be able to please find some kind of contact info for me on the site (email, phone, whatever)?  I'd think they'd like to know about this, wouldn't you?  I'll check back later.  Thanks once more,  BL
