Chris, I'm so very sorry for this late reply to your last post on this thread, but I didn't see it until today, having been awaiting further word from TWC's chief software engineer before returning to the thread to report.

I can now advise that, as of this afternoon (Monday), the page-abort problem is resolved.   Unfortunately he (name of "Chris," btw :-) )  didn't offer to tell me what had been wrong or specifically what the fix was, nor did I ask (I did think of you and your likely curiosity, but was reluctant to expend any more of his time, if you can understand that).

I had previously tried every which way from Sunday to get around, and nothing had worked.  Just so you know, I'm familiar with clearing the cache and history and all that,  and it has worked for me before on temporary connection problems, but this was something different from any other situation I'd ever seen --  a systemic error on their end, and apparently I wasn't the only one complaining.  As soon as Chris told me he believed the fix was in place, I went to the site and ran around like nobody's business, case closed.

You are a real doll to have spent so much time and thought trying to help me, and I greatly appreciate it.  Your input is invaluable; we are indeed fortunate to have you.  I hope I don't have to bother you again, and, after your having expended so much time on this issue, I wouldn't blame you if you weren't quite so inclined to help if there is a next time.  (Sorry again.)    __BL
