I think the key will be the next model run. Model runs that flip and flop back and forth are a sign that they don't know what this thing's going to do yet.
But if a model stays consistent for two or three runs in a row 72 hours out, that's pretty reliable. So if you see the same model runs at 8pm and 2 am in the morning as the ones now, then I think you have yourselves a storm that is prolly going to head out to sea.
Of course, really the key is Hispanola because if this thing gets battered and bruised pretty bad, weak storms with a screwed up circulation like this thing may have tend to have a mind of their own more than not. |
