And I should remind everyone that the suspension of the Fujita scale in 2007 and its replacement with the Enhanced Fujita scale indicates that all man made "scales" are inherently flawed and subject to revision. I suspect perhaps a scale that depicts Cat 5 surge in a Cat 1 'cane may be our latest illustration of this reality.
I'm sure everyone will hammer me for this and clobber me with all sorts of data but sorry, I'm not buying Cat 5 surge in a system that is barely clinging to Cat 1 status, however questionable a device the SS scale may be. |
