| Glad to hear all is well. We now know that barrier Islands and beaches are dynamic and putting structures like seawalls actually encourages erosion and discourages re-nourishment. If you want to live on a beach or barrier Island those are the facts. If we try to beat the ocean at its own game then we have no beach and the sand must be dredged to replace it. Leave it alone, let the dunes and the sea oats do there job. Your not going to get a better sea wall than that ;) |
