These models are saying one thing loud and clear:

That there will be virtually no real steering currents or extremely weak steering currents.

This could get very interesting. See the Hurricane Elena and Hurricane Georges and Hurricane Danny past tracks. Very weak steering currents for Georges once he made landfall in MS. Elena had a front that pushed then fizzled. Danny had NO steering currents for more than a day, almost two, and sat in Mobile Bay for that time period.

Labor Day weekend just got interesting.
