Exactly. I have a friend who lives in Hatteras who says himself "they dodged a bullet." People in Hatteras have seen much worse, and know what a major hurricane is like. This was a cat. 1 storm. It had a lot of rain to it, but the wind wasn't much of an issue. A lot of people in NC are thanking their lucky stars that this wasn't as strong as was originally predicted. They definitely dodged a bullet. |
