Bay of Campeche/Yucatan

This area of disturbed weather continues to fire and has for the past 3-4 days.  This appears to be the end of a front that passed through the eastern US a few days ago.  It is now meandering northward and still firing convection in healthy bursts.

Proximity to land is definitely an inhibiting factor, but it does appear that there is a high attempting to form overhead of this disturbed weather.  This area deserves continued attention for possible development.
