Ever since this thing went into caribbean is has been on a gereral west track. Yes it has went due north of west for a few hours at times, and now its west again. Looks like it is possible to miss the islands south completely. Its looking more and more like a Charley track through the caribbean, even though Charley started more south when it came into the caribbean. More importantly pay attention to the end of the last couple of model runs. They are now starting turn north, then northeast, not while over land but while its still in the gulf (during the end of the model runs). Everyone is screaming west, but it looks like a set up for it to go more south of the islands come up from the south of Cuba swing out into the gulf going northwest then north then eventually northest. I just dont see a straightline northwest track making landfall into the mid northern gulf, again thats just my opinion. Im not a weather pro obiously its just my thought and opinion of whats going on or could happen. What do any of you think? Thanks a bunch!!!!!:-) |
