It's just one run, so I wouldn't expect many changes long term. It's the extended period, beyond 5 days mostly, where it gets crazy. The NHC forecast track is through 5 days. If they were doing 7 day tracks, it would be very hard. (why I don't like the idea of 7 day tracks)
We'll have to see what some of the other models do over a few runs. I want more sonde data around the storm and to see what the structure of the storm looks like by Wednesday night to see how the land of Haiti and Cuba impacted it. How fast can the storm recover from the land? I think the models in 24 hours, for 0Z Thursday, will be much more clear. |
