Sted, do you see how insanely intense that loop shows Matt to be when he approaches Nova Scotia? Holy Moly! 939? Is there any precedent for a tropical system that deep making landfall on Nova Scotia? Not even Juan was anywhere near that intense at landfall. My goodness.
The loop moves too quickly for me to tell if it has it as 939 at landfall or after landfall. If after, then what we may be seeing at that point is an extratropical beast. If at landfall, well, I'm speechless.
