Jim put a lot of hard work into those videos. A lot of preparation went into them and he has a full time job already. It was a huge effort to put out videos for everything.

But he's often putting out his thoughts on Twitter:

And people can donate to HurricaneCity here:

Jim has an email list for subscribers where he emails his thoughts. 500 words on Florence and Gordon yesterday, with images. A few days earlier than that he had an email on both too.

In the past few days he posted some old videos of interviews:

But the spaghetti plot is a good indication of where this storm is going to go. Somewhere. That's about as narrow as you can get at this point. No one should panic, but people should do the basic preparations they should have had done at the start of the season. Things are getting very active. I don't care what stretch of coast you're on, East Coast, Gulf Coast, or elsewhere in the Carib, the models are showing potential activity from a variety of current and potential storms that could effect any of those areas, depending on the long range model run. It doesn't mean it will happen, it's just that at this point we're nearly at the peak of the season so it's not surprising that things are about to get more active than we've seen this season.

In addition to Florence and 92L (90% chance in 5 days) we also have 93L now exiting Africa which also has a 90% chance within 5 days.

And more things over Africa:

GOES-East imagery from CIMSS that Cypress posted about the other day: http://tropic.ssec.wisc.edu/real-time/sal/
And further over Africa:

For specific spaghetti models on all these:

But it's very early on all of these, other than for Bermuda and Cape Verde.
