| Current forecast by NHC shows it a major near the coast but not crossing coast as a major. Weakens it to 85 knots as it approaches myrtle beach. All this is subject to change but as of right now this is not what the headlines is portraying. Intensity forecasting is so difficult so who knows what will happen but have to be prepared for a cat 4. Will still be very bad for sure but hopefully not the catastrophic event the weather channel and other news outlets showing |
