This storm has surprised a lot of people. They've never had anything like it in recorded history in this area. I hope a high number of people listened to the advice to evacuate. I wish the media would pack up from the beach. This isn't a storm they should be out in. I'm sure they will just before, but them leaving now would encourage people who might still have a chance to get out to do so. (it's getting really late, but if I had the choice between evacuating right this moment along the coast or staying, I'd be getting out if the water is not already too high) |
