I had been mirroring NOAA's Coyote data onto my server. It didn't add the data to my recon system, it just added it so people could get the data since they couldn't get it from anywhere else that I've seen. But I see that the NOAA server I get it from switched to a more secure version of https like the NHC's recon archive. Whenever they did that my site stopped being able to get data. (because my site uses an older verison of SSL that my host won't upgrade)

That means I will have to get that data, if I want it, through HurricaneCity. But that means a much bigger issue. If NOAA P-3 radar data becomes available again, I won't be able to download it directly to my site. All that imagery would have to be downloaded to HurricaneCity first (after being triggered by a web page or an automatically running script that opens a web page) and then my site would have to download it from HurricaneCity. That's going to be extra fun when I have to do that. I am doing that with text data right now that I get from the NHC's recon archive. But doing imagery like that will not be as simple. I won't deal with that until imagery becomes available again, if it does. When I have a moment I might code something to offer the Coyote text data on HurricaneCity's site. Not into the recon system, just a directory where the text data would be available so people could get it. Right now I don't know of anywhere it exists other than the NOAA server I get it from.
