These are 10 second surface estimates from the Air Force recon mission that were recorded in a row:
99 knots (114 mph) 97 knots (112 mph)
At 1:20:30 and 1:21:00pm AST.
Every 30 seconds in the HDOB messages the highest 10 second surface wind estimate within that 30 second period is reported in an HDOB message line. These happened right after each other.
The previous highest for the storm that I see was 94 knots (108mph). |
