All models are calling for the pressure to start rising as the High Pressure erodes and it begins to crawl north, so those along Cape Canveral to Jacksonville who are very scared a cat. 5 will be outside your window, it will likely be in the vicinity of a cat. 2 to cat. 3 by the time it moves to the First Coast. HWRF does it have it making landfall at the Cape but at 961 mbs, which still isn't anything to sneeze at, but it won't be the monster it is now. Euro has it already up to 959mb in 48 hours from now.
Just trying to find some good news in this horrible situation, and that is one. Unfortunately, the Bahamas are seeing Dorian at its absolute worst right now. Prayers are with those in Freeport. I'm scared for those people tonight. |
