Just got home from evacuating patients at the hospital I work at on Amelia Island (Fernandina Beach). Mandatory evacuation of the island begins at 0800 am (Monday) Just thinking of how the Bahamas are taking such a terrible beating from this storm, I feel guilty for thinking that it will have downgraded to possibly a 2-3 cat storm by the time it reaches here, It's just awful thinking about it.
