Thanks, dear cypress - you're such a peach! Fortunately I was able to reach the contractor, and they say they're rearranging things to try to get us re-roofed Tues. or Wed. latest. Unfortunately we've got a fair number of scattered afternoon thunderstorms going on in the area all week, which could muck up the best laid plans, but for now can only sit tight, wait and hope. Would still not be happy to face significant winds with new, not yet fully seated/sealed shingles, but I think it beats having those packs up on the peaks. And yes, we can always hope the ideal happens and the storm doesn't come anywhere near here.
