your current "long term" discussion from NWS Tallahassee
.LONG TERM...
(Wednesday through Saturday)
Issued at 214 PM EST Sun Nov 6 2022

There is an upper-level high extending from the Southwest US, and
the Low over the Caribbean creating a pressure gradient that will
make the start of the term quite breezy with wind gusts up to 25
mph. We will remain dry at first due to dry air in the mid-levels.
By the middle of the week, there is uncertainty in the forecast
because it will heavily rely on the track of Invest 98L. A track
further to the west will improve our chances for rain and stronger
winds over the CWA.

The Low pressure system is expected to be absorbed by an upper-
level trough moving east from the Central Plains by early this
weekend. The Upper-level trough will have an associated cold
front, shifting our winds to northwesterly flow, that will bring
us cooler temperatures for the weekend.

PoPs for the long term will be dependent on the track of Invest
98L. As of now, rain chances begin on Thursday, with about 40%-60%
in the SE Big Bend, with less chances to the west. The rain will
move out to the East by Saturday. During this time, afternoon
temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s/low 80s and overnight
lows will be in the upper 50s/low 60s.

The cold front will come by Saturday into Sunday with
temperatures falling into the 60s by Sunday, with overnight lows
in the low 40s, and upper 30s for our AL and GA counties.
