I am so sorry for everything you have gone through and still need to go through :( why does bad stuff keep happening to the good people...

one word of caution, I had an accident where someone ran into the ass end of my truck on my way to work quite some years back - I had Progressive, he had Progressive & it was the very worst insurance & court experience of my life. I will never use that company again. Keep your lawyer trained on them, they will do anything to keep from paying out. Cute commercials, absolutely horrid service.

Also, as I have previous banking experience in Credit, Mortgage & SBA Lending - ignore those medical hits to your credit report, they are totally ignored by reputable lenders, but you do need to keep & provide documentation to give if you apply for a loan or just need to update your current lender/banker. Credit scores are a scam... Also, call or write (whatever they require) all 3 Credit Bureaus, you can put a note on your report that documents the ongoing litigation and medical late-pays you should not be responsible for. Maybe check w/your lawyer for best wording before doing so.

I wish you and yours all the best & am so glad you are still with us. Please pass along my condolences on the loss of your sister-in-law to all - so sad :(
