Heavy rain in parts of Texas near Houston

I was looking at the rainfall totals :

I saw on the national news tonight that some areas got over a foot. On that map I see a few spots with a foot in 2 days and more over the past 7 days.

I see 3 to a little over 5 inches in areas near Cypress, TX.
