aquaRN are things getting better? Areyou safe?
Rockslide in Madison County Saturated ground broke loose in the Laurel community late Wednesday morning sending large rocks, trees and dirt onto a main roadway in Madison County. DOT crews spent the day clearing debris from Spillcorn Road after a rockslide stopped traffic in both directions.
No one was injured, but cleanup crews and local residents wondered aloud if this rockslide would be the last. We've had three slides in our area in the last month, and everyone's seen the video of Tuesday's rockslide in eastern Tennessee.
Madison County residents are under a flood advisory until Thursday and hope this slide is the last of the season. Posted: Wednesday, November 11 2009, 09:15 PM CST Thursday, November 12 2009, 0:06 AM EST
