At least when you smell it you are warned of the danger of breathing  the fumes. It's when you can't smell anything that bothers me. There are so many forms of gases and chemicals in the air we don't smell from the Gulf that are hazardous. The problem with the chemicals being released is that they are absorbed by your skin also. These chemicals and gases travel with wind currents for long distances and also mix with moisture in the air, rain ect. We should all take precautions especially the young and ill of health. No one is telling us the true numbers just like the figures change daily of oil that is gushing. The measure of air quality changes so fast. To much is put on the amount of oil that is landing on shore or tar balls. We can see the oil but the chemicals and gases are not seen. Stay safe everyone.
