I had this under my Quake Watch Post.
I posted this time yesterday that TEC went negative and there was an ELF.
The aurora was activated.
At that time, my educated guess was Puerto Rico.
Sure enough, after that, the swarm started.
Good thing TEC went back negative and the ELF stopped.
Solar wind also jumped from the CME on Sunday.
So, all that mitigated the event.
Puerto Rico dodged a big bullet by the skin of their teeth.
However, the risk may come back in the next couple days if ELF ramps back up and solar wind drops below 350 km/sec.
IMF is already negative and insturments in Alaska have been blocked from displaying data.
