Re: Crazy 18Z GFS run keeps TC in GOM for about a week then inland into FL panhandle

Starts as 1007 mb low at 90 hours (Saturday) and makes landfall in FL panhandle at 252 hours (next Saturday) - a total of 162 hours.  If something like this would happen it would push Gulf coast tides up quite a bit.

I find it hard to believe it would not be steered somewhere northward and inland before 7 days, but you never know.  We only have a weak wave now - still way earlt to tell what will happen if anything.
