Gusting to 207 mph...that is unimaginable. Just posted, they are 13 hrs ahead of east coast time.

The latest Super Typhoon Sanba update:

At 3am Friday, Super Typhoon Sanba was located 552 nautical miles South of Kadena. It had winds gusting to 207 mph near its center and was moving to the North at 10 mph. The closest point of approach is forecast to be 9 miles West of Kadena at 7am Sunday. If Super Typhoon Sanba continues to move as forecast, damaging winds of 57 mph or greater (sustained) are anticipated to occur from midnight Saturday to 11am Sunday. The strongest winds on Okinawa are expected to be sustained at 138 mph with 155 mph gusts at 6am Sunday.
