I've been looking askance at the radar and vis sat off the coast of Fort Myers all day. I keep thinking I am seeing a broad circulation there trying, ever so painstakingly, to tighten up. Anyone else seeing this?

I have been telling my wife for the past week-and-a-half that I am not comfy with these stalled fronts we've had sitting over the gulf in mid-to-late July. After a while, push comes to shove this time of year.

Main concern is rainfall. I don't think we can stand much more where I am at here in St. Pete, and certainly not the kind of rainfall we'd get with any sort of organized tropical system.
