Great info as always, Chris. Thanks so much. The swirl that tried to get its act together today off the coast just north of Tampa got ripped to shreds by what appears to be some violent shear. So, any "favorable" shear forecasts I have seen, yeah, not sure what they're measuring. You're right--conditions aloft do not appear ripe by any means.
