What are you talkin about surge difference? The keys will be underwater and the flow into the bay will flood sobe even with the current track. This is without considering the onshore flow to the east coast once the storm crosses mias longitude.

The offshore flow on the west coast will also flood certain areas from the backside ala Katrina.
The silver lining is the eyewall hitting an uninhabited area, other than the keys. But the surge potential is more complex than eyewall hits.
