I do NOT single out any individual for my posts. I happily applaud good posts no matter whom the poster and vica versa. I've ALWAYS done that.

Furthermore, I don't "hide" behind the internet; I speak exactly as I would face to face. I'm a very well read intelligent adult over 50. I post in adult venues (science and finance) on the internet and expect rational adult conversation in such fields of interest.

If you feel I'm singling you out particularly, well, trust me - it's not because of any "feelings" I may have towards you. Consider the possibility it's happened more than once because you simply allow it to happen.

In this case, bringing up 9/11 over a plane crash only days old - suggests an excessive fear of terrorism. It suggests you (and or others) are so well indoctrinated by Cheney et. al. that you discard rational thought (that unusual events DO occur as a natural process) and replace it with fear. This is not how logical/rational thought operates.

Now instead of taking this as an affront, how about pausing to think about it? Do you or others really need to "worry" about terrorism so greatly that it becomes the "default cause" of the unexplainable? Do you want to go through life as a "Cheney Puppet" - or do you want to enjoy life in a more rational and pleasant manner?

All that said, of course it's possible a terrorist brought down the plane. I'm just pointing out it is only a highly indoctrinated mind that races to such a possibility. And finally, if it IS terrorism - so what? Do you and others expect civilization to continue indefinitely without problems - problems not in your control and not of direct concern to mentally healthy daily lifestyle?

So how about it? I have zero hard feelings towards you or anyone else here - anything else would be a complete waste of my time. When I get less than pleasing comments here, or anywhere else in life - I don't come back with knee-jerk responses, I ANALYZE it - and then accept or reject the view.

That's all I ask.

Thank you Jack, and thank you all.

Tim
