Maybe Bahamas???

Pressures are dropping at the Canaveral Buoy and at Settlement Point.
Still a lot of shear though.
It will need to fire up some 60K-ft cells to generate an anti-cyclone and re-direct shear.
A chance: Good instability in the Bahamas - High CAPE. And it is amplifying nicely. However, 700mb temps are borderline at 10C to initiate convection.
It needs some LL vorticity / convergence to fire and maintain convection.
Right now it's not there.
If something does develop in the Bahamas, it will be slow.
If not Bahamas, maybe west GOM in a couple more days as the wave continues west.
