hi Sandy
lets take a look at the steering current map this is for the weather at 5,000ft thru 10,0000ft {approx altitude) our wave has estimated pressure of about 1012mb which is not low by tropical standards
you can see the Florida front bump into the circulation from the standard Bermuda high clockwise arrows in the center of the Alantic
Our wave does not yet have a surface low or low level circulation that can be defined just yet..
Shear, the mountains of Dominica and Haiti will keep her down but not out
this is a strange wave no doubt until we have a defined low center all convection flare-ups are more show than go
