I do know what you mean Canetrakker. And this will seem like nothing (as it pretty much is) when we get our first real threat from a hurricane. Talk about jaded, living here in SW La. I'm still half burnt out about the subject of tropical weather. The hassle, the inconvenience, flooded homes, and the real possiblility that things could be much worse, have taken a lot of the lustre off tropical weather. But they are still such unique natural phenomena, that I have to check in to see whats going on. But I know what you mean. But still, I think you have to remember that the message board is about tropical weather, and this is tropical weather. If we only posted about hurricane threats, well we'd seldom post.
