Going into much of the 22 there indeed was some nice xray activity from an earth directed coronal hole. Then finally the elevated solar winds arived and when they did there again was more xray activity, but it came in the context of solar winds over 500/km per second, which observation has shown is hard on any RI tropical development. Meanwhile, a NEW SUN SPOT IS FORMING. It might get interesting with that. In the EPAC the formation of a large sun spot, largest in two years, occurred with the C and D storms. |
