Hey Jack - EVERYONE gets angry with me at one time or another, lol. But I've never shied from giving credit when it's due - my door swings both ways.
Anyway, it's cool to see you're reading up on physics; it's awesome stuff - and great brain food.
Personally I couldn't much get into quantum because I never saw much (if any) practicality in it. As for the dual-nature of light (particle and wave) - is that weird or what? The physics of light is mind-blowing.
I don't have it anymore but I once read a book that explains E=mc2 to the layman and it was fascinating. Ya might look into that some day. That physics IS very practical; and in many ways.
As for hurricanes this year - I overhear chatter on the street now and then that folks are waiting for a big one here; it's been getting on in years since anything more than a small Cat 1 has visited our area. I'd like to see a good, strong Cat 1 or a small Cat 2 one of these days - and considering the history here, it shouldn't be too long a wait, ha-ha.
Cheers!

P.S. Being I don't have a generator, I should be careful what I wish for! |
