With this and 90L potentially on the heels of whatever TD2 becomes, people are going to be well aware of what is out there. (very, very aware unless they live in a cave, lol) It's kind of like 2004 in that while it seems the season is starting out late, that might be quickly forgotten. In that way it is like 2004, but of course with two areas of possible concern heading in the "general" direction of Florida, I bet some other comparisons will be made. (prematurely, but unless the morning papers are already set, I'm thinking some places in Florida might see it mentioned in this morning's paper) Plus, 90L is looking better than it ever has at the moment.

Now we wait and see if the models have any clue on intensity. Of course we'll need some more recon in the models too for direction. Two research flights depart Barbados today at 20Z to see what TD2 is up to. (NOAA jet and NOAA P3) So tomorrow (Sunday) the models should have a better grasp on the situation.
