My feelings have really soured on him lately, he is far too political & has lost his way. He constantly attacks NHC as if they dont know what they are talking about & only Joe knows the real answer because afterall Joe is not connected with the government.. NHC is not perfect but they are far better than joeB & accuweather. As you stated he is wrong more than he is right & only talks about something he was right on which is hardly ever. If you take model data & go against it more often than not it will blow up in your face. For example with Colin he said "if this stays stronger it will go more west" WHAT? the models all had this turning north regardless of intensity. Weaker systems get caught in the low level flow unless a trough catches it like what has happened with Colin. I cant count the amount of times he has attacked NHC for upping something to a named storm or not naming a storm when Joe thinks it is one despite the recon reports. You watch the remainder of the season & see how many times he goes against NHC & then gets on Fox News etc; creating a sense that NHC does not know what they are doing and that is not good if lives are at stake. If this was just a case of Joe seeing things differently then so be it, but I think he goes out on a limb to discredit NHC so people use accuweather instead & ignores the real data.
