He is a suck worm.  Never forget he probably had a big hand in a failed congressional effort a few years ago to ban the NWS form daily forecasts and only have them do forecasts in time of hazardous WX.  He reminds me of the Cary Elwes character from Twister (sorry could not find a video so here is the script)

Bill: Jonas! Son of a b###!
