maybe something forms over the gulf on the tail end of the front
but the model trends all show the added kicker being that EPAC inflow
two different systems is my take and until that monsoonal bias clears out or shows up
the Models look very shaky at best

convective feedback has been the issue with this scenario for more than a few days
You are asking a lot of that cut-off low to do things on its own (IMHO)

Nowcast idea is
nothing anywhere near a Cane into the U. S. from this T.D.

the hedge by the NHC on the five day track tells  the story
