Cane,

The track shifted slightly north through 72hrs. Irene now passes near the southern coast of PR and enters DM through the central eastern side and exits near NW haiti. Then near eastern Cuba. Any other slight N shift will take her center over northern or coastal DM and avoid Cuba. And this will be a big problem as the core will be less disrupted and strengthening will be robust..

I know were are playing hypothetical here, but a posibility. And a big diference for Florida and the SE on strength!!
