Jumping in Late....GFDL

Notice this storms rapid intensification....and the GFDL which some may dangerously discount (IMHO)..... QUESTION, did GFDL show this rapid intensification?? I am sorry for jumping in a. Little late but All I am seeing seem surprised at this storms pace of intensification now......I hesitate to call GFDL a true outlier yet...THOUGHTS?
