Amen! Clean dry clothes mean a lot more when you're wet, smelly and tired!
Don't forget to keep your checkbook and upcoming bills with you (plus postage if you still use snail mail) or, better yet, try to pay them electronically in advance if at all possible. The bills don't stop just because you've been hit by a hurricane. Of course, if there's no power and no mail service you at least have a more sound argument about why you couldn't pay... Those little details mean a heck of a lot! Trust me, I've learned through experience, as have many on these boards.
