99L seems to have a hell of a lot of wind shear to fight in its future--dry air isn't the only problem. And ULLs have been a pesky nuisance to waves this year thus far, early though it may be. Even this morning you can tell that 99L's LLC is struggling to wrap convection around itself as shear blows cloud tops off to the north and east.
